- Abstract
The article reports that bell hooks left a legacy of theories and ideas through which to interrogate the radicalized and gendered contours of power and inequality. Topics idea of the oppositional gaze to engage understanding of Black feminist film or media production with media analysis; and the role of heteropatriarchal capitalism in shaping domination in the work of teaching as an act of liberation and resistance with experiences of Black communities during a radical social transformation.
