- Authors
Lee, Andrew C. K.
- Abstract
The author discusses a study by Khan and colleagues on the multiple system strategy by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for mortality surveillance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics include reason that the true incidences of disease and disease mortality at any given time were difficult to determine with exact certainty, how the CDC's approach is compared with those used in other countries, and key questions that need to be answered.
