The article offers information on a study which aims at evaluating anti‑pruritic efficacies of doxycycline and erythromycin in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Topics discussed include use of oral doxycycline and erythromycin for treatment of acne vulgaris; information on anti‑pruritic efficacies of systemic antibiotics in the treatment of acne; and observation of positive impact of doxycycline on improvement in acne severity.
