- Abstract
The article focuses on the author's efforts for inculcating interest in science in his Junior High School pupils. According to him, on numerous occasions he encountered an apparent dislike for Science among Junior High School pupils. The attitude, he think is affecting the enrollment of pupils in elementary Science classes, which is a subject of universal importance due to its needs and uses. In his efforts to awaken a desire for Science in the minds of some of his pupils who have shown or expressed a dislike of the subject, he had introduced the reading of good books related to Science. The idea worked well and derived very encouraging results. But the problem rested with the supply of books which kept on exhausting.
