- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the British House of Lords over a case involving a joint enterprise to inflict unlawful violence. The victim, Tyrone Clark, was killed by a group of attackers, but only one of them directly inflicted fatal injury. The lower court issued a guilty verdict, which was upheld by the House of Lords. The appellate court dismissed the arguments of the cohorts that they would only be guilty if they had foreseen the intention of the principal party to kill.
