- Abstract
The cover by Carmen Rial Tubio, and co-workers, article number 2100240, depicts a scanning electron microscope of an MRE, highlighting components and applications. Magnetorheological elastomers are hybrid materials consisting of an inorganic magnetic nanofiller embedded into an elastomeric polymer matrix. Their magnetically activated properties have applications in different fields such as robotics, magnetic storage devices, sensors, and actuators, essential for the Internet of Things and digitalization paradigms.
