- Abstract
The article focuses on the Neighborhood Story Connection projects of the organization LA Commons, which is based in Los Angeles, California. LA Commons was established by Karen Mack in 2013 with the aim of creating cultural connections through collaborative public art. Its projects include the annual Ancestor Mask Festival at Leimert Park, a series of traditional Mexican paper cut form called papel picado displayed at MacArthur Park, and the Windows to Health project in South Los Angeles.
