- Abstract
A method is described for recycling dust that settles in the gas-cleaning filters used for electric steelmaking furnaces at the Severskii Pipe Plant. A description is also given of a technology for making iron-bearing granules which are based on this dust and also contain refining slag from a ladle-furnace. It is shown that the granules can be used as an iron-bearing additive in the production of Portland-cement clinker. Results from tests of the granules are reported.
