- Abstract
This term paper presents a theoretical approach to the topic: The main reading difficulties in the 4th year of elementary school: an intervention proposal that favors literacy and literacy Schools as well as educators today face great challenge with the difficulties presented by students and also the lack of the family regarding the learning of their children and this ends up reflecting in the development of the student failing the same and frustrating the expectations of the teacher, For this reason, we felt the need to study this case in greater depth and collaborate in some way with the school by developing the project in order to contribute as much as possible with the aim of analyzing the dynamics and reading proposals used by the teachers of the 4th grade at Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Irmã Gabriela in the city of Redenção-Pará and proposing new strategies for teaching reading. During the course of this work, bibliographical research and interviews with some teachers were carried out in order to enrich the information about the causes that interfere with students' learning. The methodology used was systematized, giving meaning to learning to read and write, through interactions with the various textual genres that ended with positive results making the difficulty a pleasure in traveling in the world of reading. However, all the effort and confidence in a good result was achieved, the obstacles were overcome and, in the end, the 4th grade "U" class was able to realize that practicing reading is essential for citizenship training.
