- Abstract
Nowadays, it is understood that assistive technology is a resource that makes daily activities quick and easy to perform. According to this, it is proposed the insertion of the software easy board, developed by AssistUFRJ, for students with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), a priori, those who are enrolled in the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), Currais Novos Campus. In this aspect, the priority is to provide teachinglearning in such a way that the student is able to perform his daily activities autonomously and successfully complete the professional course offered at the aforementioned institute, in order to be prepared for the world of work. However, with the spreading of the Pandemic of COVID-19 in Brazil, it was not possible to put this project into practice, because the students were facing remote teaching in an online format. For this reason, and in compliance with the health guidelines and prevention of the virus contagion established by the World Health Organization (WHO), in the future return of classroom classes, it will be of great use that the exposed proposal be introduced in the school context and used by educators. It is expected to awaken the cognitive stimulation and the discovery of new skills and competences of the students, as well as to favor the educators who will be part of this teaching-learning process, in search of providing new pedagogical strategies considering the student's needs, aiming to stimulate, equality in the school context, and consequently, in social life.
