- Abstract
An interview with Innu Indian Antoine Malec is presented. Malec discusses his meeting and his friendship with anthropologist Rémi Savard around 1975, the difficult relations between Indians and commercial salmon fishermen, and an incident that involved Malec as he was night fishing on the Natashquan River in the Summer of 1975. Also discussed is Savard's collaboration with filmmaker Arthur Lamothe concerning the testimony and recording of this incident.
