- Abstract
The article presents an interview with anthropologist Pierre Lepage concerning the history of the Innu Indians from the Québec province of Canada. Lepage discusses his interest in the history of fishing rights on the salmon rivers, his work with anthropologist Rémi Savard at the Commission des droits de la personne du Québec, and the guerre du saumon, a conflict involving the salmon rivers in the Côte-Nord and Gaspé Peninsula areas of the Québec province.
