- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigates the ranging behaviour and foraging-area requirements of the bird, Marsh Harrier, throughout the complete annual cycle in an agricultural area in the Iberian Peninsula. In this study, radiotagged Marsh Harriers are tracked using receivers and a Yagi antenna. Results show that male home-range size exhibits large variation between Marsh Harriers. It concludes that remaining close to breeding areas is significant in the pre-laying period.
