- Abstract
The article presents a letter from a Spanish woman suffering from Parkinson's disease to her niece. The letter author describes her incapacities and weaknesses as a result of her illness, and molestations she experiences at the hands of men who see her on the street. She describes the attempts of social workers from the local town council to find a residence for her to live, and medical attention that she has received to treat her illness and the effects that it has had on her. The letter closes with an request to her niece for a place to live.
