Re: Applying Career Lessons Learned.
- Authors
Clark, John
- Abstract
The article offers a list of things for engineers to remember about managing energy consumption. The author suggests measuring the thickness of insulation and adding more to meet current standards. He believes old thermostats should be replaced with units that can be programmed to conserve energy. It is also suggested to install an air filtration system and a humidifier in the winter to improve air quality. He recommends replacing any heating and cooling system that is more than 20 to 25 years old with a more efficient system, as well as installing ceiling fans to help with heat exchange.
