- Abstract
The article focuses on the developments in the production of oil shale in China in 2012. The author mentions that oil shale activities in the country remains positive, as shale oil production increases year-by-year, wherein the estimated shale oil production in 2011 was about 650,000. However, he adds that several aspects should be improve in shale oil activities including further survey of oil shale, exploration of deposits and estimation of minable reserves.
