The article discusses treating spastic equinus due to cerebral palsy (CP) in children using Botulinum Neurotoxin A injections. It mentions the advantages of the injection in delaying surgical calf lengthening into later childhood as the time to surgery and injection frequency was not different in children receiving treatment for spastic hemiplegia and CP (spastic diplegia).
