- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 16-year-old boy who was taken to the emergency room (ER) with redness, pain, and swelling of his upper right arm. The boy is a quarterback of his high school football team but was healthy and active with no medical history before the admission. He was then diagnosed with Paget-Schroetter syndrome (PSS) which is defined as natural thrombus in the axillary and subclavian veins which occurs due to a tough upper-extremity activity.
