- Abstract
Although the concept of entrepreneurship is the first KOBİ to come to mind, it is known that today's big enterprises start to operate as a small business. The 1980s and 1990s also made it necessary to revise the role of small firms and innovations for entrepreneurship. The interest in entrepreneurship by Joseph A. Schumpeter has been growing in recent years. At no time in history, entrepreneurial individuals were not as needed as in today's information society. Successful entrepreneurial activity due to the influence of economic growth in the positive direction by revealing new businesses were surveyed for this study entrepreneurship impact on Turkey's economy in 1988-2017 years. In this study, firstly the variables of related variables were analyzed and then Johansen 's cointegration test was applied. Due to the lack of long-term relationship between the variables according to the test results, the study was continued with Granger causality test based on the Var model. In the study, the absence of a causal relationship between entrepreneurship in Turkey Because of the number of newly established companies as indicators of entrepreneurship and economic growth was an expected result.
