- Abstract
The author discusses a study by K. Ramstad et al which highlights the prevalence and impact of pain in children's population. It is noted that pain affected not only the general activity, walking and sleep of the children studied which worsened when walking, running or being immobile. He indicates that the results show that pain has a real impact on children with cerebral palsy and can reduce function across multiple areas of their lives and their quality of life.
