- Abstract
A case study of a 14-year-old male who was operated on for Fallot tetralogy in the neonatal period, with a 5-year history of hepatosplenomegaly, presented to the emergency department with tea-colored urine. Topics include although lactate dehydrogenase was normal haptoglobulin was low direct Coombs was 2+, and schistocytes were detected on the peripheral smear; and Urinalysis was positive for blood and dysmorphic red blood cells were seen with no red cell casts on microscopy.
