- Abstract
The article discusses the effects of COVID-19 on labor disruptions, H-2A program, transportation and consumer purchasing behavior. Topics include COVID-19 pandemic has exposed existing weaknesses in the food supply systems such as services, processing, which have affected labor, and supply systems; and human resources have presented the greatest risk exposure to the U.S. food supply chain but have also been the most significant asset underlying the innovative response to unprecedented shocks.
