- Abstract
Objective: To investigate the repercussions of school closures on children's health in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Scoping review, with electronic search in the databases National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health (MEDLINE/PubMed), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) and Scopus. Results: In total, 21 articles were included in the study and categorized by domains, according to the NANDA-I taxonomy, listing Nutrition, Activity/Residence, Stress Confrontation/Protection and Perception/Cognition. Conclusion: The closure of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic generated increased risk of obesity and sedentariness, food insecurity, stress, mood disorders and anxiety as repercussions on children's health.
