- Title
EXOTIC GRASSES ALTER CONTROLS OVER SOIL NITROGEN DYNAMICS IN A HAWAIIAN WOODLAND.
- Authors
Mack, Michelle C.; D'Antonio, Carla M.
- Abstract
The article discusses the alteration on plant species with exotic invasive grasses and fire on the woodlands area of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The changes affects structural and functional aspects of the plant community. Measuring nitrogen mineralization and nitrification on wet and dry seasons helps determine alteration by grass invasion.
