- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on the aquatic food base response to the 1996 test flood below Glen Canyon Dam (GCD) on Colorado river, Arizona. Topics discussed include occurring of benthic scour and entrainment of both primary and secondary producers, recovery to pre-flood estimates within 1-7 months depending on taxa and fine sediment in the tailwaters, and recovery of macroinvertebrates and filamentous algae depending on taxa.
