- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on recolonization of burrowing mayflies, Hexagenia spp. western Lake Erie during the 1990s. It is noted that logistic models, ranging in carrying capacity from 600 to 2000 nymphs/m2 were used to predict the time to full recovery of the mayfly population. The study predicts full recovery between years 1998 and 2000 for mayfly population in western Lake Erie.
