- Abstract
The article offers information on the Judicial Procedures Reform Bill of 1937 also called the court-packing plan proposed by former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It informs that the bill would have permitted to appoint six additional justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. It informs that Roosevelt was offered numerous other opportunities to compromise including appointment of fewer additional justices, which he later rejected it.
