In Albania, as in other Western Balkan countries, e- commerce is regarded as an opportunity for the development of the international trade. This research gives a general review of the latest developments in e-commerce security and privacy in the world compared to the results of the survey conducted in Albania. The Albanian consumers are interested in being involved in e-commerce but sceptical and with a basic level of knowledge regarding privacy and security issues.
