- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the association between excessive daytime sleepiness and depressive and anxiety disorders in a group of women. The study used the Epworth Sleepiness Scale to measure daytime sleepiness. It found that 13.2 percent of the women have EDS. The results revealed that EDS is associated with depressive disorders, but not anxiety disorders, independent of age and alcohol consumption.
