- Abstract
The article offers information on the legislative bill Georgia House Bill 149 regarding government contracting and deductions from employees' earnings. According to the legislation, employees will have right to stop payments to labor organizations after leaving the union. Topics discussed include expansion of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011, use of sick leave by employees to take care of immediate family members and the difference in employment and labor law.
