- Abstract
The article presents the text of a legislative bill for the U.S. Congress written in 1984 which would amend the National Trail System Act and add the Oregon-California Trail into the list of established locations under protection of the government. Introductory comments are given noting its acceptance by the House of Representatives, its pending trajectory for Senate confirmation, and calling for advocates to support the bill. The entire text of the bill is presented, enumerating the trails and roads of the Pony Express Trail and the California Trail.
