- Abstract
An interview with Jane Goodall, initiator of the youth-led community action and learning program Roots & Shoots, of the Jane Goodall Institute, is presented. Topics discussed include environmental and animal rights projects in Canada in which young people should participate, love for animal citing reference to her book "Reason for Hope" and benefits of working together in a group or community rather than as individuals. She admires Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank as a good leader.
