- Abstract
In this article, the author reflects on the vision and leadership legacy of Jonathan Lippman, a chief justice of the New York Court of Appeals, in context to civil services and equal justice for all. Lippman launched a plan to access permanent New York funding for civil legal services and justice. It discusses the appointment of a Task Force for the expansion of civil legal services, which was chaired by Helaine M. Barnett, a former President of the Legal Services Corporation.
