- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the relevance of the new sustainable standards for the green building industry in Mississippi. It provides and overview of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System (LEED) and the process for obtaining the certification. It highlights the review on the green building lawsuit of Southern Builders Inc. and Shaw Development LLC, and a discussion of the new 2007 American Institute of Architects (AIA) and ConsensusDOC 310.
