- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses concerns related to idealized approaches of science and expertise about the utility of philosophical models of science for legal practice. He addresses the importance of factual accuracy for concerning the socio-institutional illegitimacy generated by wrongful convictions. He provides information on demonstrated frailties of accusatorial trials and appeals with demonstrable reliability for admissibility of evidence in criminal proceedings.
