- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of school district officials in decreasing the graduation gap and encourage high school students to earn diplomas for college education. It emphasizes the need for changes in graduation rate to compliment with the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). It suggests three approaches for school district administrators which include the identification of factors for student dropouts, implement an agreement for preventing dropout outcomes, and reforms in school programs.
