- Abstract
This article examines the relationship between chronic stress and cognition. It discusses that cognitive dysfunction is a common problem among patients suffering from chronic stress. The findings suggest suboptimal executive functioning such as strategic or attention control among chronic stress patients. Moreover, poor performance in prospective memory and letter fluency were associated with chronic stress.
