- Abstract
The article presents a case of a 12-year-old White male who suffered bullying-linked major depression, learning disorder, generalized anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to study the effectiveness of transdermal clonidine in mitigating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Also cited are the use of trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapies as first treatment for youths with PTSD, as well as such adjunctive agents as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI).
