- Abstract
The article discusses two cases of zoonotic diseases presenting as head and neck swellings in children. The first case involves a two-year-old boy with a swelling on the left cheek, which was diagnosed as Dirofilaria. The second case involves a six-year-old boy with a submental swelling and a history of recurrent fever, which was diagnosed as toxoplasmosis. The article emphasizes the importance of evaluating children with unexplained fever and subcutaneous swelling for zoonotic diseases and highlights the need for preventive strategies such as controlling stray animals and mosquitoes.
