The article discusses a study which illustrates unisexual reproduction among eukaryotic microorganisms. It says that unicellular organisms including fungi, bacteria, and protozoa features cryptical sexual cycles. Moreover, it mentions that unisexual reproduction admix with the genetic diversity of eukaryotic organisms to maneuver adaptive selection.
