- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 44-year-old hypertensive man with gastric hemorrhage caused by splenomegaly following the repair of a type A aortic dissection. Topics include cardiopulmonary bypass with axillary artery and atrial cannulation, enlarged spleen revealed through abdominal computed tomography, and performance of splenectomy and gastrectomy.
