PCA RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS AWARDED.
- Abstract
The article reports that the Portland Cement Association (PCA) Education Foundation has awarded eight graduate students with education fellowships. The recipients include Jun Chen with his project "Ultra-Accelerated Assessment of Alkali-Reactivity of Aggregate," Nicholas DeBlasis' "Optimization of Soil Cement Mixtures for Cold Weather Construction," and "Measuring and Modeling the Setting Behavior of Cement Pastes," by Giri Venkiteela. It is mentioned that the PCA Education Foundation Research Fellowship identifies and rewards outstanding master's and doctoral students in the fields of engineering and physical sciences who are studying areas of advanced technology on cement and concrete.
