- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of addressing the issue on preparedness planning for the general population especially those with special health care needs (SHCN) in an event of a natural disaster in the U.S. It relates that many people still do not know how to prepare themselves during calamities, that is why it is significant to educate them on how to do so. In addition, it affirms that the framework presents a step ahead of the addressing preparedness problems in the state.
