- Abstract
In this research, it is aimed to determine the mental images of the students of Hala Sultan Theology College, which is the first school with a formal religious education curriculum in the education system in the TRNC, for the teachers of the theology college, vocational courses and vocational courses through metaphors. The research was designed with the criterion sampling method in the phenomenological design, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The study group consists of 262 students studying in college and theology departments in the 2020-2021 academic year. The research data were subjected to content analysis and collected in two categories as positive and negative. According to this, students' perceptions of theology college, vocational courses and vocational course teachers are positive, female students have more positive perceptions than male students, 12th-grade students are positive compared to 9th-grade students according to class level, and students with dual citizenship according to citizenship level. It has been concluded that the positive and negative perceptions of students with TRNC and other country citizenships are higher than those of students.
