- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to identify the role of soil algae species in quinalphos and monocrotophos' degradation. The study conducts experiment such as the preparation of enrichment cultures from the insecticides' commercial formulation, which develops three blue-green algae and two green algae's species. The study tested the soil algae's ability in degrading quinalphos and monocrotophos insecticides and show that the alga have the ability to detoxify the said insecticides.
