- Abstract
The article presents a study on the environmental fate of insect growth regulator diflubenzuron (DFB) in forest birds in the Sleepy Creek Public Hunting and Fishing site near Berkeley Springs in West Virginia. The study used the area where DFB was applied in plots. It also conducted residue analysis by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) of litter, foliage, arthropod, and residues of birds. Results showed higher DFB residues in canopy birds than understory and ground birds.
