- Authors
Lopatka, Kenneth T.
- Abstract
The article discusses several reported issues and disagreements regarding the U.S. National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB's) standard for determining whether employee handbook rules or policies that do not explicitly cover U.S. National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) Section 7 activity are unlawful as of 2014. Several NLRB-related lawsuits are mentioned, including a legal proceeding involving the Martin Luther Memorial Home Inc. firm. Expertise, deference, and NLRB policy making are examined.
