- Abstract
The article presents research on the safety and feasibility of intravascular ultrasound in guiding inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement through single-puncture technique. Study shows the successful placement of the filters within the IVC. Deep venous thrombosis at vascular access site, filter tilt along IVC axis and groin hematoma are among the complications found during the study.
