- Abstract
The article introduces the February 1969 issue of "The Personnel and Guidance Journal." The author calls attention to certain kinds of articles that have often enough been submitted. It follows that the manuscripts which are of interest to only one specialty should ordinarily be directed to the appropriate divisional journals. Also, research reports that are narrow in scope and limited in their theoretical or practical contributions, and there ore of value mainly to other researchers, should not appear in this particular journals. The author indicates topics on which manuscripts are welcome. These manuscripts include discussions of important issues facing personnel and guidance field, critical integrations of published research on topics of concern to practitioners in guidance, counseling, and personnel work, and Scholarly commentaries on important matters facing American Personnel and Guidance Association and its various activities in helping to solve the major problems of the present time.
