- Title

- Abstract
The article investigates the effects of female (E) attractiveness upon the size of human figure drawings, particularly under instructions to draw a "sensual or sexy" figure. While E attractiveness did not increase significantly the size of the drawings when compared to drawings made by subject (Ss) who had an E of "average" attractiveness, the results did vary in the predicted direction. If the size of drawn figures can be influenced by E variables such as attractiveness or status, then important implications are made in the use of projective tests, particularly human figure drawing tests. K. Machover maintains that size of the human figure drawing is less subject to conscious control and variability than other aspects of drawings.
